Barbara was preceded in death by her husband Otis Charles Basham, her parents Joseph and Ruby Price, her brother Joseph Price, daughter Jamie Lynn Ogg and stepson Mark Basham and step-grandson Robb Hewett. She is survived by her sister Jane Cato (nieces Wanda, Cindy and Robin), her sister-in-law MaryAnn Price, her children: Jeff Neafsey (Sandy), Andrew Neafsey (Carmen), (Glenn Ogg: son-in-law), Cindy Schuman (Scot) and Rochelle Sage (Tom); grandchildren: Luke Ogg (Sveta), Hannah Endicott (Matt), Chavvah Whitehead (Bradley), Joseph Ogg (Victoria), Rebekah Scarlet (Ben), Jonathan Ogg (Dru), Mary Mersch (Wesley), Peter Ogg (MJ), Rachel Neafsey, Anna Nolan (Caleb), Gabrielle Neafsey Wroten (Bryce), Jordan Neafsey, Asher Neafsey (Tess), Chloe James (Casey), (Step granddaughter Ashley Barth), Step son Rex Hewett, Taylor Basham and Jordan Basham; and 29 great grandchildren: Daniel, Aviygeia, James, Paul, Reuben Ogg, Nessah, Jamie Joy, Lily, Ezra and Eden Whitehead, Reed, Clementine, Janni, Marigold, Maple, Pearl and Remington Ogg, Meredith and Bristol Scarlet, Hudson and Elsie Ogg, Theodore Mersch, Adaline and Charlie Rae Nolan, Archer Neafsey, Payton Barth, Kaiden Marquez and Atlas Hoffman.
Growing up Barbara and her family moved often since her father was a Pentecostal Holiness church planter (Detroit, MI, TN 3 times, Meridian, MS, Miami, FL to name a few). After high school she went to college to become a registered nurse and worked in kidney dialysis since its inception. Later she worked as a hospice nurse.
She was a tremendously gifted artist and created amazing stained glass, her specialty was beveling. Some of her works are displayed in churches her father planted. Later in life she went back to college and obtained 3 Associated Degrees in Multimedia: Video Editing, Desktop Publishing, Film. She has filmed many events, tours to Israel, concerts, to name a few, and edited the footage to produce videos of the events.
